What is Share the Hope?

We are a beautifully broken family! Although most of us have been affected by incarceration,
substance abuse, poverty, domestic abuse, etc., we have a ton of hope to share with one
another because of what Jesus has done in our lives!
We are a network of simple ACTS 2 Communities (extended spiritual families)

Share the Hope Mission

Our mission is to empower and transform the lives of individuals recently released from
incarceration by leading them to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, while providing support
for their basic needs. We are dedicated to guiding them toward healing, purpose, and
reintegration into society, offering both spiritual and practical resources to help them build a new
life in Christ Jesus.

Share the Hope Vision

We exist to see the radical love of Jesus transform those affected by incarceration and addition,
resulting in true freedom and healing for all members. We do this by joining God in His work of
making transformed disciples of Jesus Christ in emotionally healthy communities all throughout
the Kansas City Area.

Pillars of Share the Hope Gatherings

1) Men and women who have previously been incarcerated facilitate groups.
2) Share the Hope is discovery based and obedience focused discipleship.
We study the Word of God and walk in obedience to Jesus together. (John 8:31-32)
3) We are an emotionally healthy community that fosters transparency.
a) We are a community where you can be fully known and fully loved.
b) Jesus invites us to bring all we are to Him, so we bring all we are to each other
knowing we’ll be met with love and joy. (Romans 8:1)
